Syahid

Ahmad Syahid Ahmad Lutfi is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Financial Crimes & Asset Recovery Practice Group of Messrs Zharif Nizamuddin. 

Upon completing his pupillage, Syahid started his legal career at Messrs Hisham Nazir & Co. in 2019 where his practice of area encompasses criminal litigation matters. Later in 2020, he joined Messrs Zalil Mohd & Partners where he principally involved in administrative litigation matters and other general civil litigation matters including Construction Law and Corporate Debt Recovery.

His years of practice has seen him appearing as counsel at various levels of court in Malaysia handling both criminal and civil matters, which among others includes constitutional matters involving judicial review, claims under construction law involving adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (“CIPAA”) alongside arbitration, as well as employment and industrial relation matters, all of which he provides dispute resolution and advisory services. 

Syahid has also handled military matters concerning members of the Armed Forces in multiple court martial proceeding throughout Malaysia. 

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree from Universiti Teknologi Mara and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2019.
