Nisa

Khairunnisa Khalid (Nisa) is a Partner of the Corporate Commercial Practice Group and Conveyancing Practice Group of Zharif Nizamuddin. Nisa's practice focuses on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, government tenders and awards, and venture capital and private equity licensing applications. 

She is a versatile practitioner in corporate law and also specializes in land acquisition, commercial sale, and purchase matters relating to the conveyancing area of practive. She is currently expanding her expertise into the exciting realm of entertainment law for the entertainment industry reflects her forward-thinking approach and readiness to explore new horizons.  

Nisa's journey began as a legal associate at Messrs Shook Lin & Bok, a prominent Malaysian legal firm. During her time there, she conducted due diligence for a Sukuk Musyarakah Programme worth up to RM15 billion and provided advisory services for Bai Istisna' Facilities to Malaysian private companies. Her role in notable mergers and acquisitions transactions showcased her expertise. 

Seeking new challenges, Nisa moved to Messrs Mohanadass Partnership, where she led the corporate commercial and conveyancing department at the firm's inception. Notable achievements included assisting in a franchise application for a rapidly growing F&B brand in Southeast Asia and designing a Request for Proposal for a power supply company under Tenaga Nasional Berhad's subsidiary. 

Nisa's dedication to her career is matched by her commitment to family. As a devoted mother, she understands the importance of hard work and resilience in achieving success. Outside the office, she embraces her love for travel, believing it to be the best therapy for herself and her loved ones. 

She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in 2010 and holds Bachelor of Legal Studies (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degrees from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Her affiliation with the Malay Girls College/Tunku Kurshiah College Old Girls Association demonstrates her strong connection to her alma mater.
