Dyana is currently a Partner in the Corporate Commercial Practice Group of Zharif Nizamuddin, and is also responsible for the business development portfolio of the Firm.
Upon her graduation, Dyana started her pupillage in Messrs Azmi & Associates and subsequently, commenced her practice in Messrs Nizamuddin Hamid & Co as a Partner in-charge of all corporate commercial matters handled by the firm.
In 2013, she left Messrs Nizamuddin Hamid & Co and became a political secretary to a Member of Parliament and was in charge of providing administrative, secretarial and political support services. She was subsequently designated as a political secretary to the parliamentary leader of a prominent political party in 2014.
In 2015, Dyana was selected by the United States Department of State to participate in the pretigious International Visitor Leadership Program, a premier professional exchange programme that allows current and emerging foreign leaders to visit the United States to develop networks with their American counterparts. Later in the year, Dyana was selected by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to participate in the Australia-Malaysia Muslim Exchange Programme. She then took a gap year from 2015 to 2016 to further her studies in London.
Upon her return to Malaysia in January 2017, Dyana returned to practice with a local law firm in Teluk Intan and subsequently, as a Partner attached to a local law firm in Shah Alam, where her responsibilities include managing and advising clients on corporate commercial matters, as well as managing the business development portfolio of the firm. Dyana also served as trustee to Impact Integrated, a strategic catalyst agency for and under the purview of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Dyana was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in th year 2011. She holds a Master of Arts in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London; in addition to her legal qualifications, Bachelor of Legal Studies (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
